Yes, most of that was on the news last night Muddy, awful, isn’t it.
Yet there are still the thoughtless idiots that start fires deliberately.
They should be very severely punished.

Right it has been hot and I cant be the only one who is sick to death of the EDP editor allowing tabloid style journalism.Norfolk readers KNOW where the villages are and will still read the articles even if the head line specifies the village. If they are like me they are more likely to read them because they are not irritated beyond reason by the " west norfolk village" " near Swaffham" " South Norfolk village" " somewhere west of the sun, east of the moon" device used by journalists.
As for fires, old broken bottles, combine or grass cutter blades catching a flint on the soil while working is unfortunate- dropped cigarette , sky lantern or BBQ or bonfire in the current conditions, tantamount to arson.
I completely agree.
These fires are certainly tragic. My heart goes out to all concerned.
