personally I think if you are looking for a mutually beneficial lasting relationship you should get a dog.
If a dog could open a tin do you think they would give you the same love and attentionā¦

Iām not saying that dogs can not get emotionally attached to a human or visa versa, but lets keep them in context Mr Smith.
Look, theyād soon come crawling back, tail wagging cheekily when they needed someone to go to the vets for some worming tablets.
Actually, Dogs are loyal and loving companions when treated with love and care. Their loyalty stems from their āpack mentalityā, which is a natural instinct inherited from their wolf ancestors. Dogs form strong emotional bonds with their owners, often displaying behaviors like protective instincts and a desire to please, which deepen their loyalty. Additionally, dogs are highly social animals that thrive on human interaction, making them eager to please and providing comfort and companionship. Their ability to sense human emotions further strengthens their bond, making them feel secure and valued. Overall, the human-animal relationship is a powerful dynamic that fosters loyalty and love between dogs and their owners.

and you know sir, you are correct, 100 %. I am socially awkward (more comfortable by myself), but Iām intellectually inquizzitive, that is why I spend a lot of my time online (plus I struggle with anything physically demanding).
Everyoneās welcome on this forum and even though I love my own company, I look forward to coming on here and socialising, and you can switch off the computer when youāve had enough. Although I never seem to have had enough and the time just fliesā¦
Well, believe it or not, the people I appreciate most are the ones whom I disagree the most with, and Robin (through 2 different groups weāve both been in) has always been one of my favorite people. I think itās better we learn to disagree civilly than shooting at each other. Do not misconstrue my meaning, I appreciate everybody in the group, but those you differ with make you think, and as my neurologist has always said, the more you use your brain, the more you hold off / minimize mental health issues (depression/ anxiety / cognitive issues like dementia).

I tried talking to myself, didnāt work, I found myself very unreasonable.
Iām the most reasonable bloke Iāve ever met [yawn]. Married to the most unreasonable, but I love her dearly. Unreasonable is a challenge we both enjoy.
You can indeed but the thoughts tend to linger Foxy.
