It has gotten to the stage where I refuse to participate in those “Tell is how we went” surveys.
You start a survey and the questions just keep on coming.
You might say the surveys are so the business can improve their service, but do they really?
Mostly tick box surveys so they can be read by a computer and probably used in advertising…“86% of 234 respondents said they would use the product again and recommend it to a friend”…Life’s too short Bretrick… They will hear from me if they get it wrong, otherwise it’s what you are employed to do…Do it and shut up!
Never do them either Bret…
I agree, I never complete those “surveys” - from what people tell me they are about gaining more information about those completing the survey. I also dislike those companies who, when you buy something from them, continually bombard you with adverts!
Mind control Sheila, when you are perusing the supermarket shelves you are more likely to buy something that is continually being exposed to you either on TV, Radio, The internet, or even on the side of a bus…It’s how advertising works…But when did it come to this? Life seems to be one big sell everywhere you go…I turn them off on the telly because they are so repetitive…It does your head in!..
