I have never grown Sunflowers before but a friend gave me a load of out of date packets of various seeds.
This is the result for the Sunflowers! I have smaller ones too.
Do you grow Sunflowers? What size do they grow to?

Wiley sunflowers. When I rotate my phone to look at them, they move in the other direction. 
By coincidence, I saw a picture of someone claiming the tallest sunflower a few days ago. They had to climb a huge ladder to the top. I’ll try to see if I can find it again.
That would be good to see, Butterscotch.
I suppose, it will be ok to give my hens the sunflower seeds at some point?

My sunflowers usually grow to the top of a 6 foot fence and poke their heads over the top.
I have never grown any as tall as yours @Artangel
I did see some very tall sunflowers growing against the wall of a cottage recently - it was in one of the villages I was passing through in Yorkshire - the flower heads had grown up to the top edge of the top floor window frames.

Yet, l have never grown them in my life before! They are planted in shallow soil outside my garage.
It’s a miracle they did anything!
