I take care of the house, garden and the horses. Himself takes care of the farm, and all the work that entails.

Only if it’s short term and can be taken as a bit of a joke, like when I broke my leg and got a bit of a ribbing about not being useful in a three legged race, or how my ballet lessons had improved. But I think it’s best not to have a giggle if it’s a long term or petmanent thing that can’t be fixed or won’t repair.
I think the “only having one arm” explains the situation quite well and removes any doubt about it being a temporary situation.
not necessarily. I think that it could easily have refered to a temporary thing do I’m not sure why you’re getting offended on someone else’s behalf when they don’t seem to have.

Glad to hear it and I did make every effort to find out what’s what politely so I didn’t cause affence. Have also explained that sometimes the side effects of temporary ailments can be mirthful.
