Aw, you had to go and put the bait before me, didn’t you? Okay, but I can’t be responsible for whatever I feel a need to post for the rest of the evening.
Did I say “thank you” for the fine pic? Yep, I just did.

Marilyn Monroe, though attractive, was a promiscuous drug addict, Mups. Why would anyone aspire to that?
The thing is - the icons from the past - male and female - could act as well as look good. With today’s lot it seems to be either or or!
My male list would include:-
Robin Ellis
John Thaw
James Mason
Alan Rickman
Paul Newman
Charles Grey
James Garner
Gregory Peck
Female list:
Anna Chancellor
Emma Thompson
Meryl Streep
Maxine Peake
Sarah Lancashire
Dervla Kirwin
Maria Doyle Kennedy
If he toned up a bit he could be a heart throb.
None of those on my list ST, sorry! Maybe Dervla Kirwin once.
I was going for acting ability, Dongles, not eye candy! :-D:-D
It was a long time since My heart flipped about any Actor until I saw the film ‘PS I love You’ where an unknown to Me actor had a small part playing an Irishman…I almost fell off My chair when I saw Him…wharra hunk…TessA would fancy Him too now as He’s grown a beard since then :-p His Name is Dean Morgan.
May, do you mean Jeffrey Dean Morgan?
Used to look like this…
How remiss of me to forget him!
Aye,that’s Him Nicol…thanks…
I like him too, and will watch anything he’s in.
Not too keen on his role in The Walking Dead though But I still watch him
I have never encountered a so called ‘heart-throb’.
There will only ever be one hearthrob for me and I still find him attractive at 91 years old.
Harry Bellafonte.
Sorry don’t know how to put photos of him on here, but you can listen to him…
Ah but I said “well known” as her Tabs, and she certainly was well known. From what I can remember the men used to fall at her feet as well.
I do believe our Jem here, used to have the hots for her as well.
Hi D, just seen the movie.I’ve not read the book by Ian Mc’Ewan, but you’ll be glad to know, he wrote the screenplay, so I imagine it’ll be close to the book. Saoirse was great as usual. and the other lead part, a guy called Billy Howle was fine. A bit slow to start, but picks up later. Lovely ending, go see.:-):-)

Tall dark handsome Richerd Armitage
North Country actor
Brilliant in ‘North and South’
I’m totally uninterested in very young men as heart throbs.
Maybe because I have sons.
I like young men in a maternal sort of way .
Forgot to add the delectable Gal Gadot to my list.
Aye he is the devil incarnate in Walking Dead… he plays it so well. I agree a sexy guy
Oh Blimey! I need to rethink my whole life.
Was he The vicar of Dibley’s husband?
