Who are tomorrow's hearthrobs

Who will be the hearthrobs - or beauties - of tomorrow I wonder?

The heroes and hearthrobs when I was a younger always seemed like REAL men.

I used to like James Garner, Clint Walker, Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman, Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, and more recently, Daniel Craig, George Clooney and Richard Gere (swoon)

All either ā€˜baddiesā€™ or ā€˜smoothiesā€™.

Who will be up to replacing men like that today and in the future I wonder?

The likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp just donā€™t do it for me.

Who did you used to like, male or female?
And who sets your pulses racing nowadays?

Iā€™m with you on this, Iā€™ve never seen the attraction.

Unfortunately they donā€™t seem to make 'em like they used to :frowning:

I was always a Clint Eastwood fan and more recently David Boreanaz

But as for up and coming ones, not a clue :102:

Ooh, I like you choice Nicol
He is rather handsome isnā€™t he.

I nominate myself & Rehab as the future heartthrobs - if weā€™re not alreadyā€¦:lol:

Oh Fender, how unforgivably remiss of me to miss you two charmers out!

I know she hasnā€™t reached Hollywood status (give her time) but I consider Michelle Wright (nee Keegan) to be stunning.

I know,

Go to the naughty step Mupsā€¦

Clint Eastwood and Keanu Reeves always bring Mrs.F out in a sweat.
For me, a chicken tikka vindaloo does the jobā€¦

Again, I agree Nicol.
She is a beauty and she can act as well. :023:

I wonder if she will ever be as well known as the likes of Marilyn Monroe though.

Mups, Out of all your List, the only one that would make me swoon was, Sean Connery. The others donā€™t do it for me!

I loved Ian McShane, even before he played Lovejoy. When l was 19, I even used to carry his photo around in my handbag! In real life, he would be ā€˜my typeā€™!

I think the French footballer David Ginola is beautiful and l adored the gorgeous Paul Walker of Fast And Furious fame. It was so tragic that he was killed in a car accident at a young age.

A future heartthrob? I will have to think about that one and come back to you!

Yes, I used to like Ian McShane too, Art.

I shall have to google the other two though.

Wellā€¦her husband is currently working in L.A. and thereā€™s rumour that she will relocate out there so thereā€™s the distinct possibility sheā€™ll become a ā€œmovie starā€, especially as the Americans seem to like the Brits.

Butā€¦as for being an icon like Marilyn, I donā€™t know, thereā€™s much more competition these days and fame can be fleeting.

I watched Officiers and Gentleman on a plane .
The final scene where Richard Gere takes her out of the factory was so romantic I started to cry !
The woman sat next to me thought it was so funny !:022:

Heā€™s not that young for a future heart throb but Gabriel Macht is the business and has gained widespread fame relatively recently in Suits

Oh Muddy, I soooooo agree with you. (swooned again).

hahaha thatā€™s funny, hey if she wants a big arse she can take some of mine, I canā€™t believe women will pay good money to have a backside like mine these days, crazy

Lily James.

I usually go for brunettes but in her and Marilyn Mā€™s case Iā€™ll make an exception.

This young lady for me, Saoirse Ronan. Stunning looking, fine actress too, going to see her latest movie On Chesil Beach on Tuesday. Swoon!!:049::049::049:
