Sure, one would have to use a blank tile as there is only one Z in a Scrabble set.
I strongly disagree. I love Jazz. Not the fake, phony “Smooth Jazz” (like the godawful Kenny G). I love the real Jazz: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck etc., from the 50’s and 60’s. The Jazz / Rock fusion of the 70’s: Miles Davis, Al Di Meola, Chick Corea, Jean-Luc Ponty, etc. and the straight Jazz of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s: Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, Charles Lloyd, Charlie Haden, etc. Wonderful music in my opinion.
I am not in this for a debate. I am just presenting my disagreement with your statement.
I am fond of the music Kenny G creates and lulls me with. He’s one of my favorites, never thought I’d like the sax, but like his style.
The hard jazz is too “in your face” for me.
I quite like jazz too. Though it is not my favourite type of music, I have some Jacque Loussier (sp?), Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck records
I have to be in a particularly good mood to listen to Jazz. I find it really annoying if I am stressed or busy trying to do something where I have to plan a series of steps in a hurry. It interferes with complex thought patterns.
When I am in the mood, Miles Davis, a Kind of Blue is a favourite.
I didn’t appreciate jazz in my younger days, but then my husband introduced me to this great music. I discovered a whole different world, realised what I’d been missing, the same thing happened to me with blues.
Dizzy Gillespie has got two Z’s. A good scrabble word, dizzy.

I love jazz. My dream date would be to visit New Orleans
I can’t stand jazz but I’m a Country Music Lover, real country not that rock stuff trying to pass it’s self off as Country.
I think that music enthusiasts know how to appreciate any kind of music, maintaining obviously their own personal preferences.
If I was in New Orleans I would definitely be in the mood for Jazz. It must be fabulous live in the street.
it depends on the definition of “music”. For example thrash metal may be deemed music by some…
Oh, I agree, some of today’s “music” is not music in my opinion, it’s just “noise”!
Agree there, Rose2. I am one who isn’t a fan of jazz in any shape or form.
I hear music blaring from houses and car stereos and can’t even make out a tune or lyrics. My NfH being one of them.
You have to respect Jazz players, even if you don’t dig the music!
Experts in their craft.
I agree, it’s a real skill.
Hi
I do not like Jazz at all, I rate it alongside Rap as something to be avoided.
