Which song is this line from?

Which song is this line from? This might be an easy one! I can almost “feel” folks, scurrying away to do a Google search!

“The man in between waits between the two
Not hearing the lie and not seeing the true.
Unknowing what is and denying what seems
And there he will sleep the man in between.”

Yep! Some real talent went into that writing, also - and, please get me started on Monica Bellucci! Some real talent went into that Creation, too!

There you go!

She 115% woman! “Hey, Mum, up in Heaven…thanks, for having a boy!”

Here’s one that was sung by it’s American musical composer and lyricist.
Clue, he first released this during 1966.
"Stranger’s eyes see through me, they know I need company"

That’s deep, indeed! I’d have to use Google for that one, because I don’t know it, at all.

Perhaps he was not overly popular in and around the UK, but to me with his skill for composing as well as a good kinda slow crooning voice, he gave me material and food for thought when I ran and sang with my own band. When I learned of his death in 2007, it was a sad day for me.

Stranger’s arms reach out to me cause they know I’m so lonely
Then my mind goes back to you your sweet love sees me through
Your sweet love sees me through
[ Strings ]
Stranger’s eyes see through me they know I need company
Then I stop and think of you your sweet love sees me through
Your sweet love sees me through
[ Strings ]
Strangers take my loneliness tell me that they understand
Until the death I’ll think of you and your sweet love sees me through
Your sweet love sees me through
