Which Music Artist Do You Listen to Mostly?

My most listen to Artist at this time is Paolo Nutini…
songs that have been around for ages and then suddenly he produces and has written new songs…
Start with an old favorite

Bob Dylan.Began in the 60’s and I’m still listening :grinning:

As I recall he first appeared in the UK on the BBC in a Wednesday Play (Ithink it was) which I watched.

The next day I was down the record shop trying to buy a record of his. There were none. Some time later I was in the shop and the girl called me over and showed me his first self titled LP which had just been released, I still have it (and all his subsequent albums until John Wesley Harding)

I can recall as if yesterday.
My late mate Rosi and I bought a Bob Dylan LP between us as we could not afford to buy this by just ourselves.

I had the 'record player so the LP stayed at my house…

I think Neil Young is a great vocalist.

I don’t know what makes a great vocalist, but I like Young’s vocal style.

There are so many great Artist it is hard to pin point any at times…our mood can dictate our Favorites of that moment…
Take Gerry Rafferty …love his music
another day could be Cliff Richard who has produced some amazing songs also…
LP not so well known but a favorite or mine is different for sure but definately in my play list.
Who else, well never far away are the Who…my first love

Most Country Music but like Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks.

Paul Simon with or without Art.

Father and daughter.

Morrissey. I loved the Smiths, then Morrissey solo was a natural progression. Not everyone’s cup of tea, I know. But I adore those first half a dozen solo LPs between '88 & '96. Then came the move to LA, and that was it really.

But I’ve revisited many times.

An impossible question to answer, found myself listening to quite a bit of Simon and Garfunkel of late. A little Kasabian courtesy of my son , hardly any Ramones these days. Henry Purcell at bedtime helps me to sleep well, probably an age thing! :first_quarter_moon_with_face::zzz:

@DianneWoollie I do not list any specific artists, but if the guitar work excites my ASMR, then it has to be added for my excitement.
There is also a female artist from Sweden who definitely excites me, Carola Maria Häggkvist is also my Swedish wife’s favourite.
1st is Paul Young with excellent accompanying guitar work :+1: and then followed by Carola Häggkvist with Eternity sung in Swedish

Recently, my favorite artist has become the American jazz trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker. He was considered one of the best jazz trumpeters of the 1950s. In 1954, he even won the Down Beat magazine poll for best trumpeter, beating Miles Davis.
