Our cat sleeps with us, she has her own towels on the bed.
When Rosie was alive, sheād sleep up against my back, we kept each other warm, I miss that,
Loki sleeps with us and cuddles up with us. Some hate the idea of a dog on the bed but we love it, heās our boy, heās happy and we are happy so itās all good
Yes, he feels safe and secure with his packā¦after all dogs are pack animalsā¦
I donāt have a cat at the moment, waiting until I retire.
But when I did have Charlie, and before him Felix and Little Puss, being cats, they obviously slept anywhere they damn well liked!

They do indeed,Maree, my elderly lady who I help, has a cat, it never sleeps on the pillows she puts out, so funny, as you sayā¦ātheyā pick where they want to sleepā¦
Holly has beds around the house (bed in front room, the sofa, in part of the wardrobe), but usually it is on my bed, either on her side in a nest of fleeces, or behind my pillow, her face touching mine briefly. Sometimes she edges her body till the back half is almost in the bed with me. Means I have nowhere to put my arms.
Teazle has a bed in the kitchen- choice of 2 settees in the conservatory - choice of 2 settees in the lounge- a cushion on the floor in the lounge, plus the old cat bed Dessie our cat had, and a blanket in the room I use which is actually a dinning room
or anywhere she finds comfortable even the floor
Teazle , you are so cute,
Brandy slept in a dog bed in our bed room.
Next doors cat on the few occasions he was here over night slept curled around my head on the pillow.
Aww how sweet,Tiff,
Ours sleeps in a few places - the dining room floor, the lounge floor, the landings downstairs and upstairs, the front doorā¦and he quite likes this:
Downstairs in a large travel cage. We have Dachshunds mainly & due to their long backs they should not go up/down stairs.
Lovely dogs, Geeā¦is the large one a Basset hound?..one of my neighbours has one like that, she was telling me, they canāt have too much exercise.
Down stairs on his bed.
Yes she is a basset hound. They are a scent hound bred to hunt hares. The short legs are so that humans can keep up with them & the white tip to the tail & across the top of the head, is, so they can be seen in long grass etc & the long ears are for when their noses are on the ground. The ears hold the scent around their nose. They are apparently second only to bloodhounds, when it comes to scent.
Bassets are still used as hunting hounds, occasionally & well up to long walks. But only if they want to. My girl is on the small side & weighs 25 kilos, so just over 50lbs, so hard to move if they donāt want to. And Bassets are the most stubborn dog going, if they want to do something they will & if they donāt. They wonāt. They are one of the most difficult to train.
You can also hear a Basset Hounds bark a mile offā¦so very loud.
Barley and Berry sleep downstairs they have their own beds, the settee and chairs and anywhere downstairs.
They are so gorgeous,Logan, cuddly as well I bet,
