I am not sure I have ever called a song pretty.
One of the most beautiful songs I love is Words, by the Bee Gees
Sorry, being a new member I have not worked out how to post the music video as yet.
Sounds like she is singing about new love?
But is questioning whether it will last.
Mellow song
Maybe this song fits the description a little better
I love Lana Del Ray - I think she is one of the most underrated artists around (she does more than just sing, she writes and gets involved with production as well).
It was great seeing older folk reacting to her here:
If you’ve not heard of her before I hope you’ll check out some of her tracks
I’m cheating with more than one song.
Nights in white satin
Make you feel my love by Adele
Requiem: Lacrimosa” By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Chopin Nocturne Op. 9 #2 - my dad used to play this .
Mary Do You Know by Pentonix
Not a bad song from a grumpy old folkie in 1957 …
It was part of my own “folk” repertoire in 1965 but I really didn’t have the voice for it …
Most of the later versions are over-produced, IMO, but others thought otherwise and made Ewan and Peggy unexpectedly wealthy …
Very few people have a good singing voice, unless, like me, training was given and there was something there to start with.
You misunderstand … I didn’t have the voice for that particular song - for one thing I was too young and my voice lacked expression.
This is one HUGE problem with reading from a typed screen. When face-to-face, so much more can be gained from body language and facial expressions.
Oh yes! This is definitely a beautiful song. I love singing it
Incredibly stunning voice. Thank you for posting this. Tears of joy and amazement flowed from my eyes.
Unbreakable Heart - Carlene Carter. (Sad with it though)
