What's on Netflix

I have just started watching Yellowjackets.

Only watched one episode but it is not at all what I was expecting, can’t wait to see episode 2, it appears to be a an American, female version of Lord of the Flies. Having seen only the first episode I could be wrong.

A load of nonscience really. We watched all season1, some time ago, so thought we’d watch S2 … just out.

what did you think of the ending?

You want to know who done it! All will be revealed in the next series, or are you supposed to make up your own mind, or not care, because these horrid people don’t care about anyone but themselves. Except Cecile, she likes to get to the bottom of things, but now she’s given up …
Have another cocktail.
I think it was Kat! That dreadful woman next door, but hey we can’t let a thing like this come between us.

Yes I was disappointed in general with the way the story deteriorated. Perhaps they were trying to make a political point about the au pair situation that only exists in Denmark?

I have just finished “Life after Life”. I downloaded it so I have no idea where you would watch but I enjoyed every second of it.

I also have the book which I may or may not read.

Netflix stopped working yesterday. They want me to open an account!

Just looked, it’s on BBC iPlayer. Will check it out. :+1:

I watched Sirens on Netflix recently I think it was only five episodes but I quite enjoyed it. I suppose the ending was a bit obvious or was it?. It is funny but quite dark.

In my desperate search for something to watch I came across Away starring Hilary Swank. I don’t think I have ever seen anything that she has done that is bad so I am hoping this will be good.

It’s about a space mission to Mars, 10 episodes.

A bit of drama in the first, scene setting episode.

Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia is now out. So that is the viewing sorted for the next week or so. If you haven’t watched it I recommend it. I love these teen coming of age, mother/daughter lighthearted dramas.

I found it hard to get into Sirens but then really enjoyed it.

Going to start watching the K drama…Mercy for none.

I am watching the new series of Ginny and Georgia on Netflix. I enjoy it - good characters - not bad at all

I’ve started watching this one, not bad, not as good as Gilmore girls, but I’ll carry on watching it as I’m into light-hearted stuff at the moment.

I enjoyed Sirens, too. Great Julianne Moore.

We watched a few episodes a year or two back, it goes on forever, something else came up and we promised to get back into it but never did. I liked it a lot, not sure ms d00d was so keen.

EDIT. I don’t mean the new series, we were watching the first series.

Really enjoyed a Good Girl’s guide to murder. It stars the actress who played Wednesday in the recent series. Based on teen fiction. Filmed in a sumptuous Somerset area village location, somewhere near Cheddar I think. One of my favourites, Anna Maxwell Martin, also has a supporting role as mum. Kind of a modern twist on Nancy Drew. I haven’t read the books but really hope they will make more seasons seeing as there are four books.

I think the second and third series are better than the first. Of course there is a lot of teenage angst but the characters are quite endearing and there are not many cute serial killer mums on TV these days.

That sounds interesting I have seen it advertised will give it a shot.
