Roast beef, mixed vegetable and Yorkshire pudding followed by apple pie and custard washed down with a few glasses of red wine - Rioja being my preference.

I’m presuming that for my last ever meal that I’d be in a fit state to eat and enjoy it.
Hors d’oeuvre would be mi-cuit fois gras, thin toasts accompanied by a Sauternes
Soup course would be cullen skink - probably with a small glass of IPA
Fish course would be turbot in a beurre blanc & clam sauce - with a good white burgundy, perhaps a Rully premier cru
Main course of venison fillet, pan seared and rare, madeira sauce, roast veg - with a Chilean carmenere
Dessert might be raspberry tart with a thin sable base and creme anglais - with the rest of the Sauternes
Small chocs, tiny ristretto coffee with a nuage of milk and a hors age armagnac
I’ve simple tastes. Besides, this meal would drag on for hours so I’d delay whatever came next.

What would be my last meal? It used to be a medium/rare fillet steak but I have since move on to a choice of alligator streak.
