What would you ban?

We’ve got more than enough feral kids running around in Yorkshire thank you very much…

Hi Mr Foxy. Where we lived, about six years ago in Dunstable, we did have quite rather intolerable species. Now we live in South Yorkshire and have excellent neighbours. Tomorrow we have our hairdresser here with five other friends. It gets the job done but it is also a social gathering. Perhaps we got just lucky with our neighbourhood.

No longer feel the need to socialize, if more folks were like minded =, the pandemic would have been over in a week or so.

I’d banish them from having kids.

Just a suggestion, but with the league against cruel sports having anotger pop at fox hunting maybe the Hunt could be employed to hunt down feral children? It might be an interesting day out for grown ups, watching the hounds and huntsmen charging through the streets of our housing estates.

My dad once said that Australia was a missed opportunity; we should have should have slapped braces on all pre-teens, handed them a vat of acne medication, sent them off whatever music they pleased, saved them from photographs of themselves (you know the ones…we all do :grimacing: ) and shipped them to Oz.

While in Australia they could throw all their clothes on the ground, wail on about the unfairness of life, tried out bizarre hairstyles, and suffered over every little detail of their faces that they were absolutely sure that everyone else on the planet was obsessed.

Once they were reasonable, civil, and normal, they could return to their home nations.

He couldn’t have been thinking of me when he developed that idea…could he?

Perhaps Bruce would make a suitable taskmaster? He could inform us of progress made (or not) on the good morning topic!:astonished:

@Bruce would be the perfect candidate. Something tells me they would come away from that experience with more skills than they went in with, which can be boiled down to plugging in a phone charger and operating an Xbox .

Why Australia?

  • It is an island, so they can’t run off.
  • It has a precedent for taking on temporarily annoying people.
  • It has decent weather, so they can burn off whatever is irritating them
at any given moment in time.
  • It is conveniently 8,000 miles from California.

 :australia: :boomerang:

I would ban those snollygosters, Starmer & Reeves and then take it a step further by having both banished from the Kingdom :point_right: GET OUT!

I would ban the NHS’s determination to add a DNR on elderly people approaching end of life. It happened to my mother now being bullied to apply to elderly husband . Let people who are NOT suffering die at their own pace. Hospial beds needed then give support to dying people in their own homes … I wish !!!

Personally, I have a DNR, but I believe that decision should be left up to the patient and / or family if patient unable to.
