Enough to fill one for the day ahead.
Any cricket today?
Finally raining here.
I could listen to the test match in India….first cricket for me is at Easter.
Needs to stop raining here.
No rugby either…it’s the Six Nations.
Tedious day at home for you then?
Rained overnight here.Very light rain. Some water must have gotten on the pitch. Seniors has not started as yet. 2 hours late.
3rd grade started on time.
Well I’m already on the TV sport…currently watching pre-season NRL.
There’s Super rugby,Skiing, The World bobsleigh Championship.Ireland v Wales and to top it off The World Club Challenge…sure that will be on down under.
So not boring and I’m knackered after last nights concert!
My next meal wil be breakfast.
Porridge oats cooked in water, with a small handful of blueberries stirred in for last minute of cooking time. Then some milled linseed and chia seeds stirred in with some kefir added to thin it down a bit.
It tastes better than it looks and sets me up for the morning.
Roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings, with a glass of red of course.
Breakfast tomorrow, I’m going to make bubble and squeak with todays leftovers
Old fashioned but we like it, I’ll do some bacon with it and an egg on top
Bubble and squeak, quick, easy and tasty.
No lie told here, the last time I had roast lamb would be 1977.
Porridge is underrated in my opinion.
A sizable bowl can tide one over all day.
Blimey Bretrick,i have to have lamb at least once every couple of months.
It is a shame it is so expensive .
Grilled salmon fillets (not overcooked), sweet potato chips, sweet corn, kale and small leeks from our plot.
Having had a large lunch, it’s pack sandwiches for me today.
there’s a few mouldy crusts left, might go all out and dip it in an oxo
Warm Crusty rolls filled with ham
Yum, I’m on my way over, see you in about 12 months?
I’ll have eaten it all by then😀
A new batch then will suffice.
