What will you be wearing this New Year's Eve?

As my days of riotous celebrating are now just distant memories I won’t be tripping the light fantastic in Trafalgar Square or some smokey pub (remember them?) but, instead, I shall be having a glass of wine in the sitting room wearing my new pj’s and rather attractive new slippers. So, just for fun, what are you planning to wear tonight as you bid farewell to 2021?

Happy New Year everyone

Just be careful where you put that shield! :astonished:

PJ’s for me, after the last dog walk at around 7pm. I hope the rain stays on so there are no fireworks.

Same as I wear every day of the year, white T shirt and denim shorts. Only an hour and a half to go before 2022!

I watched the kids fireworks on Sydney Harbour at 9.30pm and saw the new replacement for Emma Wiggle in Fruit Salad.

BTW the Sydney Harbour Bridge is 90 years old in 2022

Look no hands :joy::innocent:

Nothing - will be in bed, asleep, and I always sleep naked!

You’re so lucky having fireworks. The world will be watching them. Killjoys here have cancelled the public displays.

The Harbour foreshores are tickets only (free I think) but because of Covid they haven’t got rid of them all so there is plenty of social distancing.

Canberra had fireworks too my son rang while taking his kids home from their kids firework show.

I am currently watching Missy Higgins on the NYE entertainment, she usually sings her own songs but at the moment is singing the Motel’s Total Control which i would have said didn’t suit her at all but she is doing it brilliantly

As I mentioned in the Thread Will you be seeing in the New Year, I’ll be staying in tonight
I got up early, had a shower, did some shopping, but not much as I have food in, came home and changed into -

Soft, comfy old trainers
Fleece jogging pants
An old T shirt that’s worn & threadbare
A comfy fleece jersey

And that’s what I’ll be wearing for the rest of this year

I will be sat in a chair wearing my nightwear and watching the fireworks on TV … and most likely will be on the phone talking to my son and daughter. :grinning:

I will be wearing jeans & a fleece, may even wrap a throw around me as the heating goes off at 11 p.m.

A sporran of course!

I have often wondered - what goes into a sporran?

Nothing is worn under the sporran - it is in fine working order.

Surely the kilt is worn under the sporran? My question was - what goes into a sporran - is it like a handbag? :smiley_cat: :smiley_cat: :smiley_cat:
