What scientific discovery would change the course of humanity overnight if it was discovered?

We received a decipherable message from deep space saying, “Are you ready for us”?

More likely, “ you might be ready for us, but we’re not ready for you “…

The Magratheans built custom-made planets to order for anyone who could afford it. Mice were just one set of customers. They commissioned the Magratheans to build the Earth. They had to wake the Magratheans up to do so, as they had put themselves into hypersleep during a galactic recession during which no one could afford them.

The mice are intradimensional beings. When they intrude into our dimension, they take on the physical form of mice. They are not copying the shape of mice, but that all mice are actually these beings.

Never mind aliens contacting us ( foolish things) … what would happen if we discovered true longevity.
I don’t mean taking meds for lifelong conditions either, that’s just extending life.
I mean if they could stop ageing and we all stayed looking about 30 years old and lived for a good 200 years or so.
Imagine still been young at say, 90 years old … middle aged at about 170.

How could such a message be deciphered?

They did good Pizzas also.

A code was tacked onto the message. Very intelligent humans would be able to decode the message.

The scientific discovery of giving each of us a humble conscience of how to treat our fellow man. :innocent:

Goodness … you mean humans could actually evolve into some kind of decent, loving being.

Scientific discovery takes years and years of experiments…
I was only thinking “what if”"…I’m such a dreamer.

Yep, you’ve got to break eggs to make an omelette…

So you’re not in favour of diversity then RN?

Read what you’ve just asked me, Mr. Grey Fox.

We should be treating everyone, Everyone, will respect, dignity, honor, and accept who they are, or hope to be, with the same given to us in return.

A motor car that doesn’t need a computer to make it safe to drive…Isn’t that’s what the human is for behind the steering wheel?
Volvo! Take note…

You describe a fictional fairytale world RN… :009:

While ever people are different - Different religions, races, colour, political leanings, even locations, it will never happen. Despite what you may think, there are people out there who hate you and me. There are places in the UK I can not go for fear of being robbed, raped or murdered.
New York is famous for it’s gangs…
The only way you could stop this is if everyone was the same colour and religion, and all thought the same…Hence my comment about diversity.
