Tasty Muddy, there is mileage in fallen angels, less so in fallen geezers, no one feels sorry for them.

You have lost me Spitty

Just paint a geezer, in his failing years, see the sadness in his eyes, we hear a lot about the menopause, we hear little about when Sperm becomes unproductive semen, no one cares about guys.

I usually paint someone I have at least a tenuous connection with and have painted some old blokes .
Mr M for a start !
But I don’t know that many old geezers .

I painted this old chap a while back remember and he’s 96 !

He looks good for his age, but doesn’t smack of love lost, or sultry.

Never seen a sultry old geezer.

Back to the horse

Added some background which should have gone in first .
Please feel free to critique sometimes people see the faults that you can’t see yourself .
He hasn’t turned out quite as I wanted him but the beauty of oils is you can adjust things .
