Never been drunk, never likely too either as I don’t like the taste of anything. Now imagine how much that has saved me
I’m not sure what is a “common experience” for many people is but I’ll have a guess -
I’ve never raised a child from babyhood
I’ve never had a dog
I’ve never eaten a McDonald’s burger
or had a coffee from Starbucks
or tried an Indian take-away meal
Or any type of take-away meal delivered to my door.
I remember going to a Chinese take-away a couple of times when I lived in a youth hostel 50 years ago but I haven’t eaten a take-away meal since then.
That seems quite a lot of things you haven’t done…and quite a lot of things I have done.
I like to get a bit tipsy occasionally. I’ve never though of it as money not well spent
I cannot ride a bicycle
Did you walk everywhere when you were young ? We used to go miles on our bikes
It’s s a good excuse if you’ve been naughty though.
I’ve seen your face before
Never owned or cooked food on a microwave…
Foxy, have you never tasted a Dandy Burger?
I’ve eaten burgers of all shapes and sizes Spitty, but that one has escaped me…
I’ve never flown in a plane.
I’ve never been camping in a tent.
I never learnt to drive a car.
I never learnt to swim.
Blimey Tiff, I can’t blame you for never camping in a tent. There are plenty of excellent hotels to choose from…
But Flying, Swimming and driving have given me more enjoyment in life than anything else…Except running of course…
I’ve flown to some amazing destinations…
I’ve snorkeled and swam in pools and seas all over the world…
And I even earnt a living from my love of driving…Even now, I can’t wait to get behind the wheel for another adventure…
I can’t swim to save my life. Tried it, just don’t have the knack. And TBH, it’s not a hobby I particularly care to have. If I do go, it is with a swimming noodle for buoyancy and support.
I’ve never been a car driver
I did learn, even passed my test, but I was rubbish at it and the family all heaved a sigh of relief when I decided to keep death off the road by not carrying on with it
Yes, I travelled bur that was almost all on business and mostly in UK. But there were some more adventurous trips. The Orient Express was one such.
Yes. It was a 2.5 kilometre walk to and from school.
Same here Minx, but there were hardly any cars when I went to school, especially for the working classes. I came from a rough area and was the smallest kid in the class. I suppose it’s where I learnt to run…
I chose the rough Guys to mingle with, we had a reciprocal arrangement
I have never really tried ‘Base jumping’ thought about it. Jumped off the kitchen table, parachute never opened, so gave up that idea.
