What is your Spirit Animal?

In many spiritual traditions and cultures such as Native American cultures, a spirit animal refers to an animal which guides a person on a journey and whose characteristics that person embodies. In more recent times, it is used as a metaphor for someone or something which is a good representation of a person.

People often ask “What is my Spirit Animal?” Whether it’s a wolf, a bear, or a butterfly, the answer will be the member of the animal kingdom which best represents your personality and will guide you through life.

If you could choose one, what would your Spirit Animal be and why?

I think mine is the Heron. Every time something good happens, or is about to happen, I see a heron or one flies overhead. When I looked up the traits just now, it bodes very well…domesticity, resourcefulness, independent nature, prefers stillness & tranquillity to allow new opportunities to arise…
