People vaping, I used to smoke cigarettes and find vaping silly, I just think it’s odd

Is it mostly a male thing, vaping?
Thinking about it, I cannot remember see females vaping.
I find it strange. Vaping was supposed to be a means of stopping smoking though the vapes have more nicotine than cigarettes.
