What I'm listening to

Joe Bonamassa - Takin’ the Hit LIVE

Big Mama Thornton - Let’s Go Get Stoned

Simply Red, Sydney Opera House, Sky Arts 1.

The radio 2 / 6 evening to celebrate 40 years of Pink Floyd’s “Dark side of the moon”. IMO, one of the best albums ever made.

Was watching a programme on BBC 2 last evening about the Cachapoya civilisation in Peru. It reminded me of the ‘Incantation’ hit a few years back entitled Cachapaya. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J97qMwvqYOI

Yea - love that !

On this day in 1970 Jimi died

Shania Twain

It’s supposed to be the complete playlist but doesn’t look like its worked.

Mollie put a thread up about Accents. I recalled a Town Coucillor who, although he lived here many years, nonetheless he was a Geordie and retained a broad Geordie accent. He was friend of George (my dad) and were comrades together in the International Brigade.

Been listening to this for the last hour or so. Not my choice but the girl can sing.

Peter Gabriel, Sky Arts.

Ironing to this

Playing a continuous list but cannot manage to post it!
This is just one of them.

Brad Paisley.
You’ll Never Leave Harlem Alive.

Listening to stuff by Dusty Springfield - docu on BBC iPlayer.

I have been listening to this a lot recently, Enigmatic Obsession… Secrets of Seduction. Jens Gad, who worked with Enigma and its in a similar style to Michael Cretu`s work.
