Thank you very much
25mm on a Micro Four Thirds body is the standard focal length. I’m going to spend some time with the same fixed lens; they say it’s liberating!
And here’s one I took yesterday in my local park. Taken at the closest focusing distance which is about 6 inches away.
Wow! An amazing photo d00d!
Thank you Mags.
I thought it was quite good, it’s the background that sets it off.
I took a picture today of a weed that grows at my front verandah and across the steps. It dies off in winter but it gives my house a summery rustic look (well, that’s my excuse)
I like the door pattern Bruce, very nice geometric effect.
So I forgot to mention that a 25mm lens on a Micro Four Thirds body is the same angle of view as the 50mm standard lens in the old SLR film days. My first lens was a nifty fifty. M43 cameras have a half size sensor, half the size of those rectangles on a roll of film.
I’ve been to High Street Kensington this morning for architectural close-ups.
That’s just the flyscreen door (to keep out the mozzies and, well… the flies), my front door is, as usual, left open and hence not visible.
The animal testing one is odd…if it wasn’t for the bag and wording, I would think this was a praying ninja!
All cracking shots though
Yeah … maybe that’s a front for something much more sinister.
Great shots d00d.
Thanks Mags.
I love all the reflections in this Photo - it’s difficult to tell who’s inside and who’s out! - the more you look, the more detail you see.
Brilliant!
Didn’t use my camera today but here’s one from yesterday -
I was trying to capture York Minster as I walked around the top of the City Walls - the only spot I could see the Minster properly also had the sun in front of me - resulting in the garden in the foreground looking like it has verdant green lawns on the right, with a veg patch and garden on the left that looks like it’s been “nuked” !
It’s probably technically bad but I rather liked the contrast.
