What have you done with your camera today

I do like that last one. Nicely framed.

Very different and ‘arty’ I like it

Female bullfinch and a Goldfinch, no sign of a male bullfinch though, which is odd.

A pair of inflated marigolds, against a white BG that I turned pink, making for a retro feel.

I like the effect.

Overcast and cloudy on my walk this morning (taken with my phone)

It still looks dramatic even if just taken with the phone. I think now days a lot of people use their phone for pics and videos.
Is it last of the few that are dedicated to a proper camera.

Just out an about with the dogs when we saw this fat little robin

I love my camera(s). I used to do my own developing back in the day, but then supplies & film became out of my budget. Now I use a sony cybershot, or my Pentax Kr-7. Or…my phone, heh!

He is lovely, Cass

I took some pics of my camper wheel bearings that I stripped down to clean and regrease.

This is before:

The only thing that has to be replaced is the back seal, impossible to get off without damaging it.

This is after:

All the bits cleaned.

and the axle

New split pin

Job done.

I wish I had taken a picture of the petrol I cleaned everything in there was a thick layer of dust at the bottom. It is amazing how much dust gets past the seals - so many dirt roads I suppose.
