What have you done with your camera today

The crowded sky.

That sure is crowded, Emjay.
Took these just now. My patio is covered in wind flowers & the bottom of my garden also.

Wild flower? Some people call them weeds. But they are just unwanted plants. So they have to be removed.
How can they call this loverly flower a ‘weed’?

greenhouse is more or less void of plants now as most are in the garden

Westminster Tube

I don’t remove them I let them stay in between the paving slabs.

Or this?

In my garden that is definitely an unwanted plant. It pokes its unwanted trail everywhere.

Almost out in the pond.

Wall flower.

Amazing how they grow out of walls with no soil.

More wacky mannequin decor (see THIS ONE)

Today …

Just received a Pixel King Pro radio flash trigger set, so will have to do a lot of experimenting with them.

Nikon have what is called “line of sight” to trigger a remote flash which is ok. The drawback is you have to line up the camera and flashgun to work via an InforRed beam
Suppose you want to take a flash photo from an angle that is not “line of sight” you can’t.

Hence getting a radio trigger set instead.

Te ebay advert showed an earlier version so more than happy to get the latest updated one instead

Amazon price £119.99. I paid from ebay site £54.99 for the exact same thing.

today after my walk I drove down to Jervis Bay to see my son at Huskisson. Huskison is in NSW but he works at HMAS Creswell which is actually not part of NSW but the sea port for the ACT.

Smashing place to work. Look at the views:

That’s Hyams Beach slowly being killed by its own popularity in summer, beautiful white sands and safe swimming only a couple of hours from Sydney (Though there are less crowded and equally as good beaches on the way)

His work place right by the water - he organises and ranges ship’s target practice on the Beecroft peninsular firing range opposite.

The water of Jervis Bay is crystal clear

This makes me laugh - his work runabout

…but if he feels like a bit of fishing on this days off these are available for anybody on the base to borrow.

The base was absolutely full of Kangaroos I should have taken some photos of them :frowning:

Before I drove down to Jervis Bay I went for my usual early morning walk.

Spooky, we don’t often get fog here.

Super photo’s, Bruce.

Very nice photos Bruce.

Love the mist in your photos, Bruce…

Yes … nice to see the morning walk vista again, and now the spooky version.

The parakeet community in Hyde Park are amusing this time of year with a lot of young ones around.
