What have you done with your camera today

Oh bum! I forgot! Sorry, I’ll try it tonight

It took me a long time to find this little bastard but I knew (s)he was there. It is an Orb Weaver (I think) they build massive sticky webs this one was building it across my front door on the verandah. When I found it I relocated it to a part of the house I never venture (but the meter reader will have to get past it).

I used to have one building a web across a two metre gap, that’s how effective they are. Their webs are very annoyingly sticky and the first you know about them is when you walk into them.

I wouldn’t like to meet one of those spiders near my house, Bruce … it makes me shiver just looking at it.

When I left the house this morning for my walk I was greeting by the smell of smoke. It was from hazard reduction burns being carried out in the Southern Highlands and the National Parks. The smoke eventually blew away as the sea breeze picked up

Just taken with my phone as I walked.

Lovely photos everyone

They are tajines from Morocco.

We don’t get that many clouds but when we do they can be quite interesting.

A southerly buster about to arrive.

I do like that. Though all are good.

It was difficult to get a good angle on it and see the workmanship.
