Cleared out the airing cupboard of old curtains/duvet covers/sheets/pillow cases I’ve had for over 30 years…jeeze…there must be more to Life than this :exploding_head:

Bought a new banjo

Sounds interesting …and a little different.

Aye, that’s the bugger of it. Because I haven’t got a TV licence, I can’t watch the footage of me vitals.

Hi

No camera for me.

What I am getting is woken up every hour for observations, which is not ideal.

I need my blood pressure up.

It was bad enough when I was in there and they woke me up every four. You just can’t get proper rest can you. :hugs:

Hi

Absolutely not.

@Judd - Gosh - don’t you lead an exciting life??!!

Mowed the lawn.

Today , Me and the missis decided to untangle all the wires coming out
off our wall plugs to connect all the crap we have that makes the
TV, the phone, the wi fi etc work!
This took about 3 hrs due to all the excess wire the gadgets come with which
had degenerated to resemble a bundle of barbed wire !!
It looks a lot better now and all the excess has been seperated and tucked away
behind a nearby cabinet and surprise surprise everything worked when we
switched on again !! :+1::grin::+1:

I went to Lidl and bought a blender, because mine broke. The Middle of Lidl is a hoarders dream…but I just bought the one thing. No space for anything else thankfully. But I did get some fresh herbs to repot.

Came home, sat in the garden chatting on the phone with my daughter, made dinner, and now relaxing with a book. And the forum.

went and trimmed the hedge alongside our drive so the cars don’t get scratched. got 3 large white industrial sackfulls and it left me shattered.

Cooked a gammon joint - shared with friend across the road.
Made a cauldron of leek and potato soup.
Baked a large salmon and brocolli quiche - shared with neighbours.
Baked a Lemon Drizzle cake - might share that - on the other hand …

The other thing I did - was bit naughty. Had a small keloid scar over an old burn on my left wrist. Been there a while - but I was fed up of looking at it. Sterilised a scapel and … Oh look … no more keloid!

Made some chicken pies in separate tins. Bit of a cockup with the pastry cover, but heck at least it’s a start and tastes ok.
