What film is this poem from?

What film is this from? A large number of you will get it, I’m sure! :innocent: Please, give others time to see it and guess at it.

"When the Jews return to Zion,
And a comet fills the sky,
And the Holy Roman Empire rises,
Then, you and I must die.

"From the eternal sea he rises,
Creating armies on either shore,
Turning man against his brother,
'til man exists no more.”

Dawn of the Dead?

This brought the film back with a thump in my mind …
Tis The Omen and it was spoken by the priest.

It was spoken by the photographer/journalist, played by David Warner, in “The Omen”. (1976)

Check your memory. I’ve just this minute looked into the Omen’s characters and from that page, * Father Brennan : When the Jews return to Zion / And a comet rips the sky / And the Holy Roman Empire rises, / Then You and I must die. / From the eternal sea he rises, / Creating armies on either shore, / Turning man against his brother / 'Til man exists no more.
Brennan was played by Patrick Troughton The Omen (1976) - Patrick Troughton as Father Brennan - IMDb

You are absolutely right, of course…

I think that the old version of the film is far better than the newer one.
