Perth, Western Australia - 1.40pm, Saturday 17th August 2024.
Raining 22,000 dogs and 21,000 cats right now.
Wettest day in quite a while.
I dunno, I ain’t got eyes in the top of my head!!!
The sun has just peeped over the horizon and my music workshop.
Not a cloud in sight. Clear and blue with a few vapour trails.
Calm before the rain then.
You need rain? Dry where you are?
Oh yeah, not forgetting the compulsory vapour trails … bugger off planes
The sun has got his hat on hip hip hip hooray the sun has got his hat on on he’s coming out to play.
Just plain blue here in Creepy town…
A solitary jet just taken off from Gatwick, nothing else to report.
Yes, we need some rain, I don’t remember the last time it rained down here. It must have been some time at the beginning of June. We haven’t had such a long, dry ,scorching hot Summer for about 5/6 years. Last year and the year before, it rained a lot in July and August.
This Summer is actually proving to be more typical and normal for our area, reaching high 30s everyday.
Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see.
Exactly so!
Gentle prolonged rain required please but overnight would be better. No destructive winds or torrential downpours that our drains can’t cope with so certain areas get severe and damaging floods. Not too much to ask surely. Anyone up there listening?
I bet the silence is deafening
Raining so hard that the Belmont horse racing has been abandoned after 6 races.
I am at the football, pools of water all over the ground.
With a bit of a brouhaha going on
Pale blue sky - sunny and not a cloud. Has been very dry apart from some showers a couple of evenings ago which cleared some of the dust away. Could do with a couple more like that at night.
Mostly clouds with a hint of sunshine.
The sky above looks very high up, and for good reason. it is so birds don’t bump their heads.
Dull and cloudy.
