Here I am watching a movie, The Sense of an Ending, and suddenly there is a sex scene, bare bum going up and down. and I keep typing. They do ruin movies sometimes.

Same here. I see no need for such shenanigans to be displayed. 
It doesn’t bother me, I just watch, enjoy the scenery if it’s anyone pretty 
The only time I ever felt a bit uncomfortable with it was when my children were adults but still living at home and watching the family tv together Not that we watched porn, you understand, just ordinary films and tv series, but when those scenes came on, I didn’t know where to look
I still feel like that when the visit!
Just didn’t seem right, Game of Thrones was one of the worst, bonking scenes all episodes.

I don’t watch those sort of movies.In mine the scene fades out just as they get flirty and then it’s the next morning.

I watched a film a day or so ago where that was the case. The film was called Bones and all.

I haven’t seen a sex scene in a movie in so long, I’m trying to remember what I did. If I watched the movie knowing there was a sex scene, I might enjoy it. I watched Indecent Proposal a while back. Sex scene was the point of the movie.
If I’m watching a series that shows a sex scene as part of every day life, I would watch it like I would the rest of the show, half watching.
Mostly though, I just think about how horrible it must be to act in one of those scenes.
I was gonna say that because these scenes often remind me of actors saying how unerotic it is to act in those scenes given that there’s the crew around and directors giving detailed instructions on, say, where her leg has to be at a particular moment, etc. And yet some actors seem to have had different experiences.
Yes there’s been a few films where it’s rumoured they weren’t acting the sex scenes

Okay. Some of them are rather steamy. Not that I have watched one for a couple of decades at least.
Yep, no steamed up windscreens on those shows.
