What do the grandchildren call you?

Having up thread, spoke of hardly ever hearing from my teen G/Ds. Out of the blue last night, I got a text. (Hello grandpa, how are you) Could have knocked me down with a feather. Wonder if there’s some physic connection going on?

All the grandkids were raised to call my wife and I grandpa and grandma

I called both my granny’s granny, my grandfather’s died before I was born but I know my mum called hers Granfer

My own boys called my mum and dad Grandma and Grandad,

I haven’t got grandchildren but my son and niece’s and nephews call my parents gran and grandad.
