Hi
I have just gone Veggie, well most of the time, I am still emptying my freezer.
My fish are going, but I still have to have a lot of protein in my diet.
Veggie is much cheaper and a lot healthier.
I could not be a Vegan, I like milk, eggs and cheese.
I have been inspired by Ripple and one of my helpers.
Veggie is not boring, it is a great voyage into very tasty, low cost, very healthy foods.
I have the occasional fish, even more rarely some meat.
All great tasting and very low fat and full of protein.
Off topic
I admit to a one a day cod liver oil capsule .
Have you considered continuing to eat oily fish ?
I urge you to talk it over with your doctor .
Fish cake in a warm crusty roll
It’s difficult to live a vegetarian, to find interesting things to eat. Life without the odd beefburger, lamb chop, roast pork belly Chinese style is difficult to organise.
I would love to travel, eat in some of the world’s best vegetarian restaurants.
Egg on toast.
Beefburger or chicken burger.
Ham, egg & chips.
I’d never do ‘posh’ food anyway.
Faggots’n’peas
Bangers’n’mash
Bacon’n’egg butty
Pasta’n’meatballs
Egg’n’chips
Spotted dick’n’custard
If i had a fortune i would not eat in a posh restaurant.
All pomp and ceremony imo.
Hi
Well I would and have done, amazing experiences.
Spicy fried chorizo sausage with pasta followed by Angel Delight.
Oh so many……
Egg chips and peas with a slice of white bread and butter to dip in the egg and make a butty….
Sausages in onion gravy, mash and peas
Toad -in-the hole and gravy
Beans on toast with a dash of Worcestershire sauce and cheese
Cheese on toast
Tinned sphaghetti on toast
Banjos ( fried egg sandwiches!)
Fishfinger sandwiches
spaghetti Bolognese & pizza
chip butties on well butter bread
I probably wouldn’t change much. I might try to eat healthier if I could, with an indulgence here and there.
When I was young, my mother would sometimes give me the choice of baked beans and rice or a steak. I usually chose the beans, unless I was swayed by a baked potato. She would say that I’m easy to please. She meant that I have cheap tastes.
Jacket potato with cheese on top .
Cheesy beans on toast
Chicken breasts stuffed with Gruyère cheese, wrapped in bacon.
That’s cheating
OK, a Gruyère cheese sandwich.
