Just keep the battery on trickle charge, much cheaper.
Would love to but there are no charging facilities for that. You can only do that in your own house/garage.
My son in law has a Vauxhall VXR. Its not used much but he keeps a solar car battery trickle charger and believe me if it works in Scotland it will work anywhere
I agree, it only needs a few milliamps to keep it topped up. I’ve seen small solar panels just left on the dashboard keeping the battery topped up. A cheap PWM charge controller may be inefficient but they will do this job.
I really appreciate your interest. All you need then is a free and open place to park the car then.
I have a15 year Old Ford it has done less than 40k. I never planned on keeping it so long but it’s never gone wrong.
It lives outside year round too.
Let me know when you want to sell it, one never knows when a new workhorse will be required.
