Who has ever smelt Huon Pine?
Huon Pine only grows in the temperate rainforest of South West Tasmania so very few people here would know the aroma of it’s oil.
Sounds nice! Is it like lemon with a dash of coconut & patchouli (for example…although that combination sounds a bit yucky!)
My favourite aromas are fresh grass, that stuff they used to treat fences with back in the day…banned now I think, and bonfire air.
Very hard for me to describe.
Subtle eucalyptus, menthol, cloves, what else? No idea. Very aromatic.
Once smelt, never forgotten.
Yep, that bonfire smell brings back happy memories, as does the smell of fireworks on November the fifth, old fashioned cap guns and freshly pulled party poppers are rather pleasant too.
I’m not a complete and utter pyromaniac
Lavender and freshly grated citrus zest are high up on my list of favourites as well
Gunpowder & lemons, eh? Interesting
Another smell I enjoy is the fresh clean air in the very early morning…every season smells differently.
