What are your thoughts on Digital ID

I am a proud Englishman Annie, but I believe we are a much stronger and more complete nation when we stand together with Scotland and Wales…

AnnieS was being pedantic (Takes one to know one :smile:), you did quote “Made in England” :smile:

Tattooist should be sent to the bottom of the class IMO

One should never leave their mark on anyone else!

Pleased to see that you fly the flag the right way up OGF. Have seen a lot of pictures lately where the flags are upside down.

Apparently it’s a myth that water goes in the other direction down the plughole in Australia.

Thank goodness for one direction.

Gosh @AnnieS, I remember reading the Dr Magnus Pike book “Butter Side Up” nigh on 40 years ago in which he dispelled such myths, including the plughole one.

apparently it does work if it’s a really really big plughole and a waterfall going down it. Perhaps a sink in Brobdingnag would prove such a theory.

Digital=Digitalis=Poison.

It won’t worry me to have a digital ID on the phone but I don’t think it’s necessary in view of all the other forms of ID there are already in place. I don’t think it will stop those without the right to work from working. Lots of jobs aren’t only companies or businesses. There will always be cash in hand small jobs where workers would be untraceable.

The main objection about an ID card being introduced is surely that since Starmer thinks it’s a great idea, it almost certainly isn’t. :wink:
