James Galway - Brian Boru’s March (Jem made me think of this tune with his funny post on King Richard III. )
When I’m on my computer I listen to Smooth Riviera Radio on iTunes in the ambient section, nice relaxing music .

ERNESTO CORTAZER, his music is absolute heaven; sadly he died around 3 years ago. Even so his website is still alive. I’ve bought many of his CDs direct from USA as you can’t buy them in the UK.
Max Graham, Canadian DJ and composer, probably best known over here for his remix of Owner of a lonely heart by Yes.

Heard a Dire Straits track this morning, ‘Sultans of Swing’, not heard this for years… Mark Knopler is a brilliant guitarist, fabulous song.
I will download it, the problem there is, I always want the original and there are usually a few to sift thru and, as you only hear part of the track, it can be hit and miss…

I’m a bit rubbish with this sort of thing Pats, but I use youtube quite a lot for putting music onto this thread. If you just google the song and artist and add (on you tube) it will likely come up with what you want. Open up the one you like and it will appear in your tool bar thingy. Then click on (play it to check its what you want) and then copy the link and paste it into your post. It works for me and I also save a lot of youtube stuff so I can play it later on. I created a folder in my “favourites” just for youtube stuff. Hope this helps and this is how I did it to get your Dire Straits track.
Regards. Rena
Thank you so much Rena, i have ‘never’ gone onto ‘you tube’, I’m fairly new to this computer lark…:-p
I meant to download a song for home listening which we do from Amazon…
You are welcome Pats.
I like this way of doing it because there are often interesting video bits which people have put up and which go with the music. You can also find videos with the artists performing the song some live gigs, which is a bonus as well. I’ve got quite a library built up, although it is subject to change - sometimes I go to the song and find it has been removed, but there is always something else to go at.
