What are you listening to right now?

Right now I’m listening to my love song. This song has nice lyrics and I love this song very much.

Since everyone was looking for a bloke with a beard and funny hat I thought this might be worth an airing even though it is early…or late.

Just right for a stomp about if you can though.

Bob Dylan

Must Be Santa

Right now I’m listening to my love song. This song has beautiful meaning and vocals of westlife is awesome.

Coldplay … always Coldplay (X&Y … nothing better to lull a person to sleep!)

Right now I am listening to “Desert rain” by “Edward Maya”.

The Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil

 Great stuff .:023:

:026::026::026:

Snow Patrol.
Chasing cars.

Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bochelli, as I write, are singing “Time To Say Goodbye” on my wife’s laptop. I’m not an opera fan by any means, but some songs just hit the spot don’t you think?

Indeed so, I was introduced to this young lady’s talent a while ago by a friend of ours who has been trying to educate me about classical music for sometime.

It is the ‘Song to the moon’ from Rusalka by Anna Netrebko.
Simply superb.

Good choice :026: … Or did ya choose it ?

Not at all sure I understand what you are saying.

The question at the start of this thread is …

What are you listening to right now?

What you are listening to right now may , or may not be of your own choosing …You may be listening to your childrens or grandchildrens ( etc ) choice of music .

Get me now ?

:035::058:

I was listening to both UTube versions at the time and posted the one I thought was best. Thanks for explaining though.

I’m addicted to Era at the moment.
I often listen to it whilst I dance around the house doing my cleaning with the feather duster.

Question … is anyone here into classical music?
And if so are you a purist?

This has an electric guitar in it.
Do you love it or hate it?

A blast from the past Simon and Garfuncal Bridge over trouble waters.

Just for you Annie
Simon and Garfunkel: Bridge Over Troubled Water
Original Version.

Hi Morticia,
I heard this a while ago from Era.
They call it The Mass but it is a bit of a rip from Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. As these things go it is fairly good.

Regarding your post, I have to say I prefer the original.
It comes down to taste and what you like to listen to. All kinds of music should be heard, at least once.

Adagio in G Minor by Albinoni

Thank you Hammer, I had forgotten about them then I heard them on the radio, it took me back to when the children were young.

I generally like classical, with a bias toword chamber music and a mild aversion to opera; have the radio set on the classical station all day. Bach and Scarlatti favorites…

A friend of mine who is a serious music bloke sent me this UTube link sometime ago.

It was done at the Central Market of Valencia back in 2009.

A couple of pieces from La Traviata.

The acoustics are awful but you can see the pure joy on the faces of the shoppers.
Priceless. Enjoy.
