What are you listening to right now?

Fire station at the bottom of the hill from me, can actually see roof of fire station from my ‘pad’. Sirens go off all hours of the day and night - have lived here long enough now that they just blend into the background noise and I no longer take that much notice of them.

…very funny AB :lol::lol:

Brilliant AB!

My daughter used to sing that a lot when she was younger … I taped it too and it’s lovely listening back to her singing it at 6 years old!

That’s a great recording too, Uncle Joe

Gravity~ Sara Bareilles

For some reason, I find this song sad…but I still listen to it.

Marie Rachel :-)I have never hear that song before and don’t know the singer , that’s lovely .

Meg, we have a show here called Dancing with the Stars. It was a song that a couple had danced to. I too have never heard of her. It is a pretty song though, and she does have a great voice. I wonder what other songs I would like. I want to look her up on Youtube and take a listen. =)

From the music of the film Gladiator
The very excellent Hans Zimmer & of course the voice of the superb Lisa Gerrard.

Elysium

Gladiator is one of my favorite movies! I also enjoy the music in the film.

A fair chunk of Pink floyd for this sentimental Saturday.
This is from the Pulse concert at Earls Court way back in 1994.
I was going to include the set closer of ‘Run Like Hell’ but that was too reminiscent of the night the scaffolding collapsed.

No such tragedy happened on our visit and this remains one of the best music nights I ever witnessed. You may just catch sight of Sam Brown, one of the superb backing singers. Was it really that long ago and yet still so fresh in the mind?
Sadly though, one of the band is no longer with us.

RIP Richard, called far to soon.

Reminds me of the time that I saw them at Earls Court in the 70’s, with my late wife.
They had just released Dark side of the moon, and played the entire album, through the second half of the concert.

Uncle Joe  I prefer this version which I find breathtakingly beautiful…

Andy Murray winning the Shanghai Masters Final and overtaking Roger Federer to go 3rd in the world rankings!

Sorry Meg darlin’ - a question of taste - I prefer Nana Mouskouri’s version.
