In a week where we have seen and heard too much on the negative side a little positive thinking is called for.
From the exceptional, Michael Hoppe.

Hi Hammer I had never heard of Michael Hoppe, that piece is lovely as are some of the other pieces down the side, very ethereal
Thanks Meg, I have a lot of his stuff, he also works with people like Martin Tillman and Tim Wheater.
A gifted musician.
I did post another here but is bears repeating.
This is from the album Solace.
This is from the superb 2004 film Man On Fire.
It starred Denzel Washington, Christopher Walken and Dakota Fanning.
The impressive soundtrack was by Harry Gregson-Williams and the vocals by the sublime Lisa Gerrard

I don’t have music playing at the moment but a waltz I can’t put a name to is stuck in my head…
On Catsey we call that an earworm, Annie!
That’s cute! I’m thinking it’s classical tinnitus.
This is from Roy Buchanan, one of the greatest electric guitarists to have ever used the instrument. Whilst largely known as a blues musician he could adapt to any genre. He mainly used a Fender Telecaster to great effect as this track shows.
This piece was on his 1971 album: Buch and the Snakestretchers. It also features in the movie, The Departed. A bit sad really as like the film Roy also departed this fair world sometime ago, called far too soon.
Sweet Dreams

A little bit of lighthearted nonsense for a Happy Tuesday.

What a good night that was boys and girls.
Have had a rough couple of nights - disturbed sleep, so need something restful and gentle: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQY51GFECbo
