Turnip surprise. The surprise?..No turnip.
Got a chicken breast style quorn thingy for today, will have it with mixed veg (depends what I can find in the freezer at the time) meat eater has a real chicken breast.
Just had Chicken Salad.
lamb chop ,jersey potatos and green beans
Fried Egg, Bacon and Oven cubed potatoes.
Not quite sure, but it may be lamb casserole/hot pot, there again it may be gammon, cauliflower cheese, tinned toms, and lovely floury King Edwards with lurpak spreadable. How about I leave it up to the forum? Lol
We had Roast Chicken, R. Potatoes, R. Parsnips, Baked Onion, French Beans, Carrots and Gravy.
And just now for supper we had Crumpets and Butter.
I have a three tier steamer and start off with veggies at the bottom then potatoes above topped with a gammon steak, turns out lovely as the gammon drips juices on to the pots and it’s all cooked on one hob:-)
I could not be doing with eating such a heavy meal in the middle of the day, it would simply put me to sleep; as for ‘supper’ at 5.30, blimey, we usually have not had our dinner (or whatever term is used for main meal), at that time. To us ‘supper’ is a late in the evening, before retiring snack. Toast, a sandwich, crumpets, or even a bowl of cereal.
I would normally eat it around 6pm as my main meal
We have a saucepan/steamer combo (under a tenner from Wilco - well worth it), so spuds in bottom, and when they have come to boil veggies on top, anything which is normally grilled goes in halogen oven at the same time (chops, gammon, belly pork etc) .

Steak & Kidney Pudding, Boiled Potatoes, Dark Greens, Swede and Gravy for lunch.
Supper? Don’t know yet.
Sunday dinner was roast chicken, roast spuds and parsnips, with cauli, broc, carotts and sweet corn, and stuffing and cranberry sauce and gravy. Supper was rice crispies and sliced banana with a light sprinkle of canderel.
Today we are having Roast Gammon, R. Potatoes, B. Parsnips, Peas, Carrots and gravy.

Last night we had twice cooked pork belly, roast veggies, peas and a lovely sauce to go with it. Rock melon and home made ice cream.
Going to make a cottage pie today - luverly grub!!!
Cheese and onion quiche for lunch and toasted tea cakes for tea.
We had Lamb Cutlet, potatoes and Courgette Bake for lunch.
