Went to Goblin Swamp and came across these Gnarly Trees

The trees in this video are Melaleuca Paperbarks.
Normally Paperbarks are easily recognised by the thin, papery bark on their, trunks and taller than these ones.
These low trees with bulbous, knotty trunks are rather spooky.
I am trying to imagine what the visual effects would be if there was water on the ground.
Marked in my diary. Come here in the winter, bring a torch for really spooky visual effect.

According to information about Goblin Swamp these are ancient paperback trees. Apparently trees might grow in this eerie shape when the soil is moving or unstable for a long period.

No, I did not see any Goblins. They are very shy and I was rather talkative.
