"We'll forget her soon enough" Charles when Diana died, says Diana's brother

I know. It’s just somewhat hypocritical that anyone other than a tiny minority are expected to garner a sense of moral outrage expressed by someone as contemptuous as Spencer, especially when there is a reasonable chance that he fabricated the key elements of his claims anyway.

Spencer = another opportunist grifter!! He is completely outclassed by someone as sharp as P Morgan :+1::clap:

He certainly seemed to have made a mistake about Piers Morgan’s involvement with The Mirror at that time (the only time a mistake has ever been made about Morgan i hasten to add!)

I hope that all too obvious mistake costs him dearly and then some.
I also blame his publisher for not fact-checking before publication.

If I was P M i’d sue both of them

It seems there is ‘history’ between Morgan and Charles Spencer.

Back in the 90’s, while editor of the News of the World, Morgan decided the country needed to know that Spencer’s then wife Catherine was being treated for an addiction, and published photographs of her leaving a well known clinic.

To avoid an embarrassing court case, Morgan ‘left’ his job, on the advice of Rupert Murdoch.

Morgan may not have been editor of The Mirror when (as Spencer claimed) photographs were published of Princess Diana working out at a gym, but he was editor throughout the phone hacking scandal.

He was also editor at The Mirror when he allowed fake photographs to be published of British soldiers ‘abusing’ Iraqi prisoners.

He was finally kicked out by his employers.

Morgan has been involved in so many scandals throughout his newspaper career, maybe the best thing for him to do is keep quiet, and not play the ‘injured’ victim.

But that’s not his style.

Charles joked about burning the Whitehouse. There is no idea he hasn’t got.

I’ll never forget Piers Morgans attacks on people who wouldn’t have the covid vaccination, and it turns out he was wrong after all. Many people have suffered and died since as a result of having an untested vaccine.

So called celebrities in the media - we feed the trolls by paying attention to them, we have a choice as individuals.

Ironically I’m probably contradicting myself by posting this, can’t quite get my head around that one…

Is there a reason to wonder why people who live 50 miles away from civilization and never mix in / with crowds, are ok. I sort of think the In Crowd is a PITA.

I’m with the in crowd.

Yeah but, you have a Buddy, sometimes it’s better to be Far from the madding crowd’s ignoble strife.
