Cheese and iron? :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I’m unadventorous too … roast chicken for me … some of the newer flavours taste pretty revolting.
What’s teriyaki anyway? Soy sauce (ish) flavour?
Anyone remember when hedgehog flavour came out?

The four flavours are:

  • Fragrant madras curry, inspired by Indian curry house The Radhuni in Edinburgh
  • Creamy thai green curry with a hint of zingy spice, from Mantra Thai Dining in Newcastle
  • Crispy fish and chips, based on the British classic from Wetherby Whaler in Yorkshire
  • Flavoursome chicken burrito, which took inspiration from Mexican eatery Yucca, in London

It might just be me but, some 70’s snacks seemed slightly carcinogenic at the time, plasticine was the same, good job never ate any :grinning:

Wow, crisp flavours have come a long way since I left London!
I loved crisps, ate them every day, my favourites were M&S barbecue, beef and onion! :grinning:

Walkers have got it right - spicy flavours are the way ahead. In France there is a brand called Bretts. France is not known for its love of spicy foods. But Bretts teriyaki flavour and piri piri flavour are very popular. Then again so also are their camembert flavour and garlic flavour.

This brand were pretty decent as I remember…

There was a little shop/ newsagents in The Holloway Road in North London. Used to pop in on the way to work and pick up a couple of packets during the early 80’s
The packaging has changed almost beyond all recognition but they tasted really good!

Did I read Holloway Road?

I must have definitely been in that shop at some time or other, in those years.
Not just for crisps, sweets delicious chocolate bars like Lion Bar, Twix, Doubledecker and another one which slips my mind at the moment, but also lots of different magazines.
There was a music mag I used to buy for the song lyrics and posters but I don’t remember the name.

I usually bought Golden Wonder crisps.
