Violent attacks

There are an increasing number of violent attacks clearly seen on cctv cameras yet the police seem unable to catch the perpetrators.and so often the victims are older people .
This is in Manchester
It’s was an exceptionally violent attack and the victim was left with brain damage

Here’s another where the victim himself had to find out if there was cctv coverage ( they was ) but it took the police 3 weeks to collect it .

These attacks seem to be on the increase.

Do you think, the consequences of attacks like this, as in getting off lightly, …it’s just not enough to have an impact on the severity of their crime?

Who in their right mind would even think of committing an horrific offence like this in the first place?

What ever causes these perpetrators to act like this?

I just can’t get my head round it.

Because they’re mad @pauline3

We can couch the language and try and explain it using a whole load of psychobabble, but ultimately they’ve got a screw loose, as nutty as a fruitcake, bananas, bonkers, loco, cuckoo, sandwich short of a picnic, …crazy!!

Personally, I don’t like using those words.

Probably, because I’ve been called them on occasions…there are far more to them than that, they have mental health issues, which unfortunately, unless they can see they have a serious problem, then they can’t get help…

I also think that alcohol and drugs may play a part…

Theres no deterrent, and the vile nasty scumbags know it,therefore it will be a daily occurance.
Personally,if someone attacked ANY of my loved ones and the police did nothing,i am afraid to say i WOULD take the law into my own hands.
And no doubt the police would appear in flash of light.
The difference is, i would not hide the fact that i did it.
And seriously, what the hell are those low-lives doing filming it and not trying to help the victim or at least phone the police,WHY ? because they are as bad as the culprits.

I respect that.

For me, when the behaviour patterns involve heinous attacks on innocent bystanders, a more robust choice of language seems appropriate.

Yes, I can understand your choice of words, I don’t mean to judge you over it…my son would probably agree with you.
