For Vera fans…did you know that each night this week on ITV 3 at 8pm (and ITV+1 at 9pm) we can see the very start of this fabulous series which began in 2011.
So this evening was Series 1 episode 1: her father has just died and she’s moving into his grotty old house!!
Episodes 2 3 and 4 tomorrow Wednesday and Thursday, I can’t wait!
When it first started - ages ago - I was not too keen - but soon became hooked - have it all on DVD.
I never watched Vera when it first arrived but I have enjoyed some of the repeats I have seen since.
The stories are so believable & she plays the part well so I hope to see more, that I missed last time they were shown.

There’s a brand new series 11 starting on Sunday
Tonight’s the night for Vera 
. Unfortunately, it’s also the start of the Beeb’s new drama “Vigil” at 9pm on BBC1 and series 4 of Mortimer & Whitehouse - Gone Fishing at 8pm on BBC 2.
I didn’t like Vera either when it started, but I do now, watched the first of the new series last night…
