Using extn tubes

I have been considering getting a proper Macro lens For the Pana G9/G9ii cameras.
The trouble with using a macro lens say 60mm four thirds lens (120mm FF) is being too close for photographing most insects. So next option was to get extn tubes. With these the mm size has to be smaller than the minimum lens size.
To overcome this a lens minium size say for example 100mm one can get away using stacked extn tubes
so I am using 10mm and 16mm tubes combined allowing well below to 100mm lens min length.
The result is being able to work at around 6ft away using the 100-300mm lens @300mm.
