Unit 731 Japan. Covert Biological Warfare

War Crimes are quite common,unfortunately.

Japan killed thousands but got full immunity by the USA in return for the medical experiment data.

What Japan did in China / Manchuria was truly horrific. 20 million Chinese died.
What the did to allied WW2 prisoners of war was also horrific.

Bloody hell . never heard of this before.
Vivisection on captured American pilots!

And the US let them off even whilst pursuing Germans for war crimes. Just goes to show how shabby the winners of a war can look… rather than a noble super hero.
Looks like microbiologists and nuclear scientists get a free pass all round during war years.

You’re right … plumbers and electricians always get biccies when they come to my house. But the one who does best is the bloke who can unblock drains.

Pouring a cup of white vinegar in drains every month goes a long way .

We have a list of retired tradies who do jobs around the house ,cash only and they always get coffee and cake.AND they take their time and do everything properly,no rushing off to the next customer.
We have invasive tree roots blocking our drains but can always rely on our Wayne the Drain to sort it. :grinning:

I’ve come to the conclusion that all nationalities have the ability to treat some others as inferior. It doesn’t say much for the human race.IMO

Yes indeed and pretty much every Black man I know well enough to chat politics with in Miami has a tale to tell about being treated poorly by Hispanics .

Keep in mind war brings out the worse in plenty and at that time Japan was notorious for the way it treated those who were not Japanese .

I’m not going to post the link because the stories are horrid but if you ever want to feel sick look up –

" The Brutal History of Japan’s ‘Comfort Women’

Between 1932 and 1945, Japan forced women from Korea, China and other occupied countries to become military sex slaves.‘’

Too true … and I hate to say it but it was the British who first had concentration camps.
And look how the Inquisition treated and tortured in the name of religion.
We humans are a pretty sick animal really aren’t we.

The Brits tried to kill all the native population of Tasmania too.

I have to ask … is anyone else on pre-mod or is it a forum glitch?

Edited to add:
Ah, I think I know why. It might be a word I’ve used.

Nope … wasn’t that. I’m baffled.
Never mind.
Take no notice of my blathering.

Cancel the post Morty, don’t give whatever is moderating the satisfaction of making a decision :grinning:

Perhaps women might be better and not just saying this for some UK black pudding

Between 1945 and 1947, 18 us citizens were injected with plutonium to test the levels of radiation the human body could take to deem what was considered safe, after the war, many us veterans underwent lobotomy operations to cure ptsd, ( called shell shock at the time) the Soviet Union experimented with human, ape breeding, none of which was successful, under the guise of eradicating religion while really trying to build an ape/human supersoldier army, many countries have done unspeakable things to their own, and other people…

I think they did other then 2 people .

" The British colonization of Tasmania was a catastrophic event that decimated the native population. About 10,000 Aboriginal people lived in Tasmania before it was settled by Europeans. By 1830, after only 27 years of British rule, the population had dropped to a shocking two people."
