UK/US Dinner - The Forum Would do it Better

This photo of the UK/US state dinner came across my news feed, and I quickly thought how much more interesting and fun it would be if our forum members were attending instead of these sheltered stuffed shirts (elegant - but stuffed).

We’d have so much to converse about: house projects, yard work, travel, family, cooking, how things work, the nature in our part of the world, games, meteorology, astronomy, swimming, neighbors, disasters, retirement, moving, pets, bad haircuts, surfing, desserts, aquariums, sheds, adventures in shopping, pets, misadventures, trips into town, running, cycling, walking, photography…

What do you think they had to talk about? Do you think any of them really enjoy these events?

If you all will set up the picnic tables, I’ll bring a chocolate meringue pie a the potato salad - black tie optional.

King Charlie gets paid a lot of money to be nice to visiting foreign statesmen/women. it is the closest he gets to having a proper job.

He could wear a MABA hat, if it was just a barbie on the palace lawn.

Make America British Again. :icon_wink:

Brilliant   :joy: !
