Polling stations have opened to elect a new MP after the resignation of Nadine Dorries in the Mid Bedfordshire constituency.
In 2019, the former culture secretary had a majority of 24,664 in a constituency that has been won by the Tories since 1931.
Thirteen candidates are standing in the by-election, representing major and minor parties, and two independents.
Constituents will need photo ID in order to vote.
